Metal Oxide Preparations

Our metal oxide preparations are designed to have greater storage stability, be easier to handle and have better dispersion than traditional products. Our preparations are non-dusting, and are available as either zinc- or magnesium-based preparations, or as a combination of both.

Struktol® Neozinc
  • Zinc oxide preparation
  • Beige pastilles

Zinc oxide: 67 %
Dispersing agent: 33 %
Packaging: 20 kg bags
Bulk density: 1200 kg/m³
Dosage Relation: 1.5 related to ZnO

  • Improves incorporation and dispersion of ZnO
  • Can be used with automated weighing systems
  • Suitable for use in open mill and internal mixers where ZnO dispersion is critical, e.g. roller covering compounds
Struktol® WB 700
  • Zinc oxide preparation
  • Beige powder

Zinc oxide: 91 %
Dispersing agent: 9 %
Packaging: 20 kg bags
Bulk density: 1200 kg/m³
Dosage Relation: usually 1 - 1,1 related to ZnO

  • Highest ZnO content with good dispersion
  • Reduces adhesion to mill rolls and rotor blades
  • Can be used with automated weighing systems
  • Suitable for use in CR compounds where ZnO dispersion problems may lead to increased scorch risk
