Semipermanent Mould Release Agents

To facilitate the easy removal of cured rubber articles from the mould, the use of an effective release agent is imperative. Applied undiluted onto a hot clean mould surface free of oils/greases, our Struktol semi-permanent release agents provide an ideal production facilitator by forming a cross-linked durable coating on a mould's surface, greatly improving the manufacturing ease and economics of rubber moulding and providing the following benefits:

  • Excellent release properties and quick and easy de-moulding
  • Semi-Permanent and effective for multiple moulding cycles
  • Increased wall slippage and Improved mould flow
  • Reduced mould fouling
  • Less time wasted for mould cleaning
  • Reduced Mould Defects

Solvent based mould release agents are highly sophisticated in the market since many years and are used in divert different mould applications. Particulary their rapidely drying release film is one of the big advantages when used in automated production cycles.
